Valeria Carbajal is the founder of Carbajal Law, LLC. She was born and raised on the border of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, in El Paso, Texas to immigrant parents. She received a Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice and Psychology from the University of Texas at El Paso and went on to receive her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Kansas School of Law. While at the University of Kansas School of Law, Valeria was the president of the Hispanic American Law Students Association.
